 Pesticide Applicator Training   The NATIONAL PESTICIDE APPLICATOR CERTIFICATION CORE MANUAL:   NASDA's Research Foundation has released a new training manual in November 2008 which provides pesticide applicators with a broad range of technical information and background knowledge in a single source that is both current and concise.  Go here for more information and to down load chapters as pdf documents.

Pest Management University:  PMU is  a cooperative effort between UF/IFAS FDACS and the Florida pest management industry.  Classes are offered at various locations and on line to certify and recertify pest control professionals.  Increased professionalism and improved skills translate to superior job performance, increased profit and fewer customer problems. Our office is available to offer most FDACS pesticide applicator exams.  If there is sufficient interest (more than 5 persons), we can offer local training programs for new applicators and renewal CEUS.

Operation Cleansweep is  a program that helps producers and  commercial users of Pesticides dispose of unwanted or cancelled pesticides.  To learn more about this program, call the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services  toll-free at 877-851-5285.
Homeowners wishing to dispose of pesticides are encouraged to contact their local Household Hazardous Waste program or visit http://www.earth911.org for more information.
